Airbus books are going to Boeing format, but with your Airbus content. Not only was liability a reason to go to the Boeing...but principally it was a cost factor...manufacture suite of books are always cheaper. Keep your CDS's

If liability were such a concern we would be going to the Airbus manuals with standard Airbus content

I'm more concerned with the loss of color!

I've had one Capt who made me wait until the Ramp cleared us for push. I had 1 Capt who pointed out that was the way to do it but let me turn it on once th door was closed. Ever other Capt let me do it the second the door closed...since we were responsible for the pax at that point...although I believe we should start getting paid the second the first pax boards....just me.

Default Negative training?

I think crew pay should begin when the doors are closed, but that the beacon should never have been used for any purpose except its original one: warning of imminent engine operation or aircraft movement. The reason is that when it is flashing for long periods with neither of these things happening, ramp personnel learn to ignore it, eliminating its safety value.

And we've had at least one crew in JFK get extensive time off with the threat of termination for "tricking" the ACARS out time.

You're getting paid 1 minute of flight pay for every 3 1/2 minutes of trip duration and at least 1 minute for every 2 minutes on duty. Is a couple extra minutes of hard flight pay when the aircraft isn't moving really worth a cockpit conflict if it puts your job at risk? If you want increased pax responsibility pay, negotiate it in the contract you and management are supposed to follow...

It sounds like we may adopt F-NWA's policy over time.

I hope so, it seems much more simple.
