Good, since you seem to have better ALPA contacts, you can probably answer the following questions:

Which LEC reps were consulted about the A330 pilot rest facility prior to the announcement ot the agreement by Lee Moak?

Which LEC reps voted on the A330 rest facility agreement prior to the announcement of the agreement by Lee Moak?

When did the vote take place and when was the agreement signed?

Of the above LEC reps, how many are currently or were previously qualified on the A330?

Hey Ferd! I just noticed under your avatar "Saipan tour guide". What kind of tours do you do? Or is that just in reference to the route you fly for DL/NW? I was born a raised there, working on getting into the industry, only have my private at the moment. I am currently in HNL and planning to move to PHX to attend ATP, an accelerated flight school. My dad is a good tour guide and is into WWII history stuff. You should look him up if you got the time and your interested.

The A330 will either have the current facility or the new bunks for flights between 8 and 12 hours. Both are the best in the industry for flights in this category and flight time frame. They are night and day better then what is on the 767ER at Delta and what other airlines have. There are lots of battles to be fought with the company. Fighting when you have the very best is senseless. The CROT team I understand had a majority of NW pilots on it that came up with the new rest facility. Another team is now being put together to discuss the bunks on the 7ER's since the current facility on the 7 long haul airframes is coming out with the new business class. I hear there goal is to get something close to as good as the A330 has and is going to have. The other ER's will stick with a passenger seat in business. Ask your buddies at other airlines what they have. Most have a single business seat, some like CAL get coach seats.

I apologize if this has already been addressed.

Unfortunately, I don't think new DAL will get the NWA policy as long as the FA's are non-unionized.

Think about it. DALPA is basically negotiating for themselves AND the FAs. The company must give everything they concede to the pilots to the FAs too, or risk their unionization.

No way the company will concede NWA's call-in-honest policy if they have to grant it to the stews, too.

This will continue on EVERY issue until the FAs are unionized. DAL pilots should support the heck out of their union drive. Let them negotiate for their benefits themselves instead of DAL pilots expending negotiating capital for them.

It's good to be back.

Good to see you again, ACL! Well, unfortunately, the mods provided me with an indefinite LOA. I guess I was just too real.

But I am back and hope to provide some constructive input--and ease up on the demagoguery.
