I struggled with questions like how far away from the clouds you must be while flying in Class D? What is the flashing green light mean in the air. O2 requirement. MEA, MOCA... and read the Metar. Oh, get use to the NOS chart. Not Jeppeson. Good luck.
CVGolfer - I'm looking into the Predator position also and wondering what your quals were? I've got a good amount of FW time but I have no UAV time and no MIL or LE time. How was the Predator Sim eval? Any other info you can give for the UAS position whould be great! Thanks

Earl, looks like 250/Pt.65 guy digs up the info already. I'm sorry to hear that Predator time is required. I have a former Navy friend who is thinking about applying as well. To answer your qt. I do have some Predator time, less than 200. I'm not a former millitary guy, but I have 5 yrs of experience on UAVs. The sim eval was probably the most challenging part of the interview for me, because I forgot lots of stuff. Where are you flying freight at anyway? I used to fly for Amflt.

Thanks for the info. I'm flying for amflight out of BFI. Do you know of anyway to get some UAV time other than military option? I've checked out General atomics but can't get anywhere there. Hopefully they won't get enough guys with UAV time and they'll have to open it up again...I guy can dream I guess. Thanks again

Gordo, I just replied to your email. I hope it works, cause I never done it before.

Earl, BFI - is that Bakersfield? I used to fly out of BUR after I left GA in 99. Keep trying with GA. They do have a high turn over. You just never know. Good luck.

Got it. Thanks.

Did you get the job? What were you left with when you walked out of the interview?
