Earl, I didn't realize BFI is Boeing fld. In that case, check out Institu for UAV jobs. They are just east of PDX. If I don't get picked up by the CBP, I'll try them next.
If you had your application is for the May 15th announcement, the cutoff is a 99 to get through to the next rounds. I emailed and asked, and thats what they told me. So if you had above a 99, good luck to you on the interviews, if you are with me and got a 98 or below, beers my house.
Well I guess my 88 will not cut it, at least I still have a job. Good luck to all those who do get on, I am jealous and hope to join you someday in the future.
Yes, this is true. I just spoke to the STARs division and this was the verdict. Ok, I am down for the beers. Where do I have to go? Best of success to those that advanced up the line.
My 96 and I will have to reapply. I gambled a bit and waited too long to apply... Should've applied on previous anouncements but I'm not available to start until next spring. Who knew it would take seven months from hitting the send button on my application to finding out a previously good score wouldn't be good enough this time around.
Wow, that was my score. Isn't the first time in my life I've been Tail-end Charlie. It seems kind of biased, though; hard to get that score without a veteran's point bump, I think. I had JUST shy of 1500 total, but met the waiver criteria. The rest of my resume was pretty strong (including a master's from Embry-Riddle and NVD and instructor quals), but can't say that it's a fair cutoff for the masses.
