Default The greatest generation loses another..

Lest we forget, (I did), today was D-Day,1944!

And on a related note,
"He used his body to shield three fellow squad members from two grenades, and was nearly killed when one exploded."

It figures that only cancer could take him down. I wish my generation had 1/10th of the guts and determination of his. It really makes me sad that one day soon they will all be gone and my future children will not have them to learn things from.
