Mods, go ahead and delete this if you consider it commercial advertising. My brother-in-law mentioned this to me as having helped some of his friends in the military who are thinking of or actually transitioning into civilian. I personally don't know anything about the site or the author, nor have I vetted it in any way.

PS: speaking of mods, haven't heard from FDXer in a while. Are you ok? You haven't found another form of addiction, have you?

Great Idea and I'm sure there are good tips in the book, although I've never read it. Thanks for the heads up.

The army offers ACAP (Army Career Assistance Program) to those Soldiers headed out of military service. Courses range from resume building to home buying. I'll start using the program in about a year as I'm headed out and I've heard great things about the quality of assistance given here in Wiesbaden, GE. I'm not sure if the other services offer similar programs or how standardized they are from base to base, but hopefully people research all their options and make a well thoughtout decision to leave or stay in.
