Default Complete transition from HU-25 to C-144

If a USCG aviator student were to complete flight training in late 2010 and select the HU-25 Guardian, what are the chances that they will fly this plane for their entire career? Will the Guardian be around for at least another 10 years or is the C-144 going to put it completely out of service shortly??
