Columbus Grad here, (87-04)
I only experienced the Auger Inn once, on a T-38 cross country. It was all it was cracked up to be, and I have very fond memories of my flight there! Too bad its gone downhill

1990. XC somewhere. Chick followed me into restroom and asked if I needed help (99% sure she was joking). (Response: " I cannot pee if you try to help me….we'll both just end up standing here….")
1993. At Randolph TDY for LSO school from my first F-15 squadron. Wife went along for TDY as 10 year class reunion was coming up so we did it along with TDY trip to states. Went to the Auger one Friday night with wife in tow (I know--sand to beach….) and went to bar for first round. Came back to table and a little number walked between my wife and me, one beer in hand for herself and handed me another, and proceeded to try to (ahem…."twat block?") my wife! My wife quickly took charge and spun said gal around and explained who belonged to whom, but a great story later on and 100% true. Wife just laughed it off, as she knew the reputation of joint and was glad I was going cross country to Galena and King Salmon on my weekends unlike the Langley, Holloman, and Eglin Eagle drivers in the lower 48…
I'm about 99% sure NONE of that kind of garbage would float anymore. Too bad, because it made for a lot of good laughs and stories, and even a few happy couples over the years.
