So was it the housing or that they wouldn't pay to get your clearance back??
Because according to you, you have applied to AT LEAST one company within the last year, so you didn't have a problem with "B huts" then..
Not trying to start a flame war, but I've seen dozens of your posts regarding wanting to work overseas but not getting the job only because you didn't have a current clearance.....and now you are going to say you wouldn't go there because of the living conditions....really?? Lets be honest with ourselves....

Even at $750 a day assuming you spend 6 months a year out there (which is a lot in my opinion), that's only about 135K/yr BEFORE taxes. That's peanuts to go spend half your life in the sand and dust and get shot at. What are the bennies like at these places? Any retirement? Medical....in Afghanistan? Life insurance that will pay out if you are killed in a war zone? Sounds to me like a job for people looking to build turbine PIC and not accomplished prior military aviators. That 135K should be compensation for your security clearance alone with an ADDED $750/day for time spent downrange.
But depending on the company, you do get all of those benefits...which ain't a bad gig overall.
At the end of the day, it's courses for horses. The airlines don't appeal to me - never have. I prefer to do all my work at once and then get all my time off at once. Flying ACMI/non-sched almost works (17-on/13-14-off), but you're just rested up when it's time to go back to work and I often ended up more like 19-20-on/10-11-off at my old company. So, 60-on/60-off works quite well. I can stand on my head for 60 days, but I fully concede it's not for everyone.
Besides, I look at this as working to live, not living to work. I'm going to be able to pay off two mortgages in a little over 2 years...something to be said for that. Once that's done, I can almost drop out of the rat race...almost.

I don't know what Rampart Aviation pays, but they were actively recruiting former military/current guard and reserve guys in my area. They do training support for SPECOPS parachute jumps and also surveying and contract transport work overseas.

Take a look at Avenge Inc
Avenge Inc. - Careers
They are on a hiring "binge" right now. Some others like Dynamic and L-3 might also be hiring, but your hours might be a little low for them, you'll have to check on their website.
I don't know if you are prior mil but that definitely helps....and make sure you understand what they are going to be asking you to do wrt time OCONUS and the conditions you will be living/operating in. Good Luck!

B huts! HA! Who wouldn't with be ok with that living!!!
I don't know if Avenge has their foot in the door there yet (some Avenge guys here can chime in on that), but I know that L-3 is there and a small company called Commuter Air Technologies (CAT). I know a few guys at CAT and they told me that they think that they are not hiring right now but may once they can get some more aircraft on-line there.
