To answer the question, pilots are destroying the industry by cutting each other's throats in the race to the bottom. Airline management can't manage anything: aircraft lease costs; fuel prices; landing fees; etc. the only thing they can affect is payroll. Therefore, they spend every moment of every day looking for ways to cheat their employees. Despite being "organized", we allow them to whip-saw us at every turn. It's sickening.

NP, that dude (Albie) knows his stuff. And if you are new to the forums, he also runs Emerald Coast Interview Consulting, often referred to here as "EIC" in various threads when mentioning interview prep.

As a fellow Army pilot in a similar circumstance, I know of 2 other pilots that got hired this year at Majors with comparable times, and I know of others who are still waiting for calls. My advice, it's worth the money to invest in a reputable interview prep course.
