also avenge is not growing, they are loosing guys. any hiring is to back-fill guys bailing

I see a lot of the SIC positions require 500 hours TT and I've applied but I'm not hearing anything back. Are most of the SICs getting filled with higher time guys? Or does knowing someone inside make a big difference?

Good job, good people...some good companies, some not so much, but this CAN be a long term job/career for those who enjoy the benefits and understand this type of work environment and everything that goes along with it. I know plenty of folks who came into it as a short term "pay the bills" type of mindset...and now it's 7-10 years later and they can't see working in anywhere else! To each their own.
