Had a few wild rides at Elmendorf back in the day in an F-15. Never left the surface, but probably ruined a couple seat cushions along the way. A technique was to shut an engine down after the aero-brake to reduce the thrust. Pushing on brake pedals with nobody home was one of the most uncomfortable feelings in aviation....

At least you got an ejection seat. I have to fall 60+ feet, then try to get out a hole smaller than me. (I'm like a rat, if my shoulders get through, the rest will too)
Had a couple wild rides with the NP2000 system (newfangled 8 blade prop) on the E-2.
Select ground idle or reverse, and the prop computer decides you only get one below flight idle.. yeehah!
(no anti skid in the E-2 at any speed)

The Events Coordinator - who was riding in the backseat - is also a Marine Captain - - a WSO (Weapons Systems Operator) in the F/A-18Ds.
Blue Angels: United Officers, Their Roles & Responsibilities
The bars on the 'cover' are Captain's bars - - but look at the insignia. EGA.
