Latest AFOQT Form (Form T)
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone had any new intel on the new AFOQT form that just came out Feb 14, 2015.The test length has been increased and three new sections added (Reading comprehension, Situational Judgment, and the replacement of General Science with Physical Science). Unfortunately since the new version just changed over, I have been unable to find any current study material besides the one on access.afpc.af.mil. I was wondering if anyone had taken the new version and if there are any other changes to the test. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This was a good source to get you started. The test isn't terribly hard if you practice working fast. If there wasn't a time limit, I am sure that there would be more perfect scores. I felt it was more high school level questions especially with the math portion but the time constant made it a bit difficult. I spent three months just going through practice questions and working on accuracy and timing before taking the test. Also focus on what would be beast for your career field. Example: for pilot my grammar was terrible but math and pilot portion was workable. Best of luck. It is a pain but opens many opportunities.

I took the new AFOQT when it first came out. I had no idea it was the new one so I obviously didn't get to study those areas. Honestly, if you can think and work quickly, you will do good. The situational judgment is super easy if you have any life experience. I have been out of high school for a long time and haven't covered any of the relevant stuff for a lot of the AFOQT and still did very well. Study some physical science and really study the math portions. That is seriously the hardest part.
