You thinking of the non-flying points based only jobs like ALO or CAPRAP?

tr4a: How'd you like it? From reading online, it seems like you only have to work as much you like.

It was very flexible. You attend local squadron meetings, SAR exercises and the annual cadet encampment. Yes, you can work as much as you like. You advise and assist the CAP.

How are the CAP people to work with though? I've heard some can be a little difficult and/or are a little "interesting."

Most of the time I dealt with the cadet or composite squadrons. Most of the senior members (adults) in those squadrons we're great to work with. They were either parents of cadets and/or former enlisted. You might see some of those types in the Senior Squadrons (no cadets, mostly a pilot squadron).

how about in the PHX area? I just moved there, currently in the Guard in a different state but after doing the double commute for a bit I think it is going to kill me...and my wife. Any jobs in that area and how does the transfer work?
