T-38 ip, 192 oss/do, va ang
The 192 OSS, Virginia Air National Guard, is hiring a technician to serve as the OSS/DO. In addition to DO duties, the OSS/DO will perform Adversary Air IP duties in the T-38A for the F-22s at Langley AFB. We're looking for an O-4 with experience in leading/managing officers and enlisted personnel. The opportunity for career progression/command opportunities exists. Previous fighter experience is desired. I sincerely appreciate your help in spreading the word to all interested RegAF, AFRC, and ANG personnel. I'm available at any time to answer questions.

It's a light twin. Weighs as much as a single 777 engine with a fraction of the thrust. We can train you to standards, but you'd have to remember your own gear and flaps. Could be an issue.

what's the catch? Good deals are generally filled in-house by your own dudes, even when advertised on usajobs for legal reasons.
Is this that pesky airline hiring wave decimating the AFRES/ANG ranks thing again?....

No catch. We have a cupboard full of F-22 guys that would likely go full-time, but all our T-38 bros are gainfully employed in the civ world. We only have 7 T-38 pilots, and this will make 8. It's a brand new position created specifically to fill a DO role for the OSS, and the first full-time T-38 position. I'm the OSS/CC and fly for FDX. It's a great squadron with no issues, I just need some full-time representation!
