Default Mac users...best digital camcorder?

For my fellow Mac owners...any suggestions on a good, digital camcorder that works well with iMovie and iDVD? Not really interested in buying Final Cut or any other software. I've heard Canon is compatible, Sony not so much. Thoughts?

How about a digital camera? I'm in the market for a new camera in the $200-$400 range. Any recommendations?

I strongly recommend any of the thin, pocket sized Casios. I have an older model and it is still going strong, takes great shots. Just search ebay and you will find a ton.
