So I'm here sitting reserve and I realize, I could be actually be making money twice with a second job. What are some of the things you guys do in your free / sitting around time that help you buy more beer, pay alimony etc....

So far real estate and financial planning seem to be possibilities, but I'm curious and bored.

I like how the guy asking for ideas to make more money immediately goes for financial planning.

I kid. I kid. Uber driver maybe? That way you could do it only when you want. And if you know commuters in crashpads you would have an instant set of people to drive around.

I found the biggest financial help being on reserve was to use that time to overhaul my budget and spending. I think the couple hundred bucks a month you might make from an odd job on reserve could be trimmed from most peoples spending. Take a hard look at your bills and see what you don't need. Gym membership your not using? Lawn work, cleaning, or pest control for your house you could do yourself with all this time? A garage sale?

You could try an inventory job. Those schedules are pretty flexible. You have to be willing to work at night, though, not always.

My wife and I both run seperate network marketing businesses. We were both very much against doing these in the past, but it's simple to do from your computer or phone and usually has a cheap starting cost. You just have to make sure there's a demand for the product and it's actually something that you would be proud to sell. We're not getting rich off of them, but it's an easy $500-$1000 extra a month. My friend that got me into it is making $30k a month!! It can be a great opportunity if you choose the right one.

Amazing Academy | Official Site

I was talking to a guy at an investment seminar, asked what he did. Told me he had recently quit his day job after getting this up and running.

I haven't had much time to look into it yet, but it's on my short list of things to do...

I've been selling health and life insurance in Florida. Very easy to do while on reserve, but not easy to find clients. The life pays very well but again finding customers is challenging. The payouts can be huge.

Join Rodan and Fields. Just build a team and the $$ can be pretty nice. My wife joined awhile ago and then I jumped in. Was really big when I lived in NJ, now beginning to expand more all over.
