I would say that at least 40% of the aircrew are leaving due to poor management. I have never seen such a great pool of talented pilots so upset about how something is mismanaged. L-3 hired some great pilots for this program, but left some idiots to run it. Put your apps in and have fun... it's just not worth the money to put up with their stupidity.. I know of one or ten openings that will definitely be there in the spring....

Lots of truth to this statement; I guess in management you get what you pay for and they saved most of their money for their pilots. (Management is not really that bad, there’s just too few of them for what’s being asked of them. The L3 support structure is where the failing is and that is companywide. I guess when you have a government contract there is no need to be efficient/effective.) The pay is good and on the bright side, like starting with any new company, once you figure out the system, things run much smoother.

All in all, I know Dynamic and Avenge guys, and L3 still has it the best.

Does anyone know if they are still hiring?

What are the chances of getting on at L3 without King Air time, or internal rec's?

Slim, kind of depends on total prop time. Any military time in theater would be a big plus.

It depends on your quals and on any internal cheer leaders.

They seem to have a problem with hiring Pilots over 50 years of age. Isn't there an age discriminate issue in the States that makes this illegal? Some class action suits from the past? Thought a few Airlines were nailed on this and paid out some major big bucks.
