Default Central Air Friends lost.

If any of you have flown for Central Air then you know Murray Brown. He died today while training one of their pilots.

Murray Brown was the DO. He was a great guy and a first class pilot and instructor. He did my initial 135 ride. He handed my ass to me. He made me a better pilot. Murray made sure that you were ready to brave the aviation world as a single pilot freight dog. I did not know him as well as others, but I did respect him.

God Speed Murray. Blue skies and tailwinds.

I've never met the guy, but based on xkuzme1's description, he sounds like he was a great guy...

Used to see him in CPS on and off. I Enjoyed the conversations I had with him. I'm very sorry to hear that he is no longer among us.

The very best to his familiy and friends!

Murray was definitely one of the best. He was a great guy, calm (at least around me!), and an excellent pilot. My current company employs many former CASW pilots, and we're all very sad to hear the news.

That's too bad. I flew for CASW briefly in the mid nineties . While I have nothing good to say about JT (so I won't say anything), I recall Murray to be straight up guy.

Sorry to hear about this.
