Default aircraft choice for a new 135?

Looking for some advice for the right aircraft for a new Part 135/91K...

Range is about 300-400nm average.
Customers are mostly doctors.
Trying to set an economic plan to stay in business for the unstable market (i.e. long term).
Based out of Florida.
Best insurance?
Factors are:
a) operating costs b) speed c) comfort (appeal)

Deciding between a piston and a turboprop

A) KingAir series - personally like the 100 series
TPE-331 vs. PT6

B) Piper Navajo Chieftain
P-model? Panther?

Any other good all around suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

with the PA-31 your looking at around 50 GPH, and about 180 true... If your trips are 300-400 might look for something a little quicker or more comfortable.

How to make one million dollars in aviation - start with five million

We have used the NBAA information, however we were hoping for a comparison opinion and to get some inside information on which aircraft might be good long term or preferred.... basically just some good advice.

I second the king air 90, great fuel economy for the speed you get.

If you can find a Raisebeck C90 then you would definately be in business.

Make sure its a full Raisebeck and not just a change in props

My vote goes to the PC12, Just saw a show on Discovery " millionaire toys", they talk very highly of the PC12, reliability, performance, room, etc....
