Default charter pay and compensation

Looking at 135 jobs in the TPA area. What should I be looking for as far as pay goes. 2000 hours 1200 jet. No previous 135 experience or types.

Also I haven't seen this addressed on these boards with 135 operators. What should we be looking for as far as medical and 401k. Are there ever year end bonuses?

It would help if we could narrow down the aircraft type, PIC or SIC etc. Also depends on the size and quality of the company. Scumbag operators may look at your current pay and try to "steal" you for slightly more.

Part 135 Pay Per The 2007 Pro Pilot Salary Survey:

King Air 200 -
PIC $52,000 avg.
SIC $34,000 avg.

Citation II -
PIC $61,000 avg.
SIC $37,000 avg.

Hawker 800 -
PIC $80,000 avg.
SIC $55,000 avg.

GIV/450 -
PIC $110,000 avg.
SIC $64,000 avg.

Every charter company I've worked for has had benies. Some don't but I believe most do. As to the quality of those benifits..............see above about scumbag operators.
