I did a phone interview with them a few months back. Minimums are hard-set by FedEx. Forget about the Caravan unless you have more than 1000pic. The ATR upgrade is somewhere around 4 years. I elected to wait out a recall but if you don't mind sitting in the right seat of the ATR they are a good company and everybody I talked to while getting info on them was very friendly.

I think its ATR right seat if you have less than 135 mins and less than 1000PIC.

Additionally fedex sets a hard min at 1000TT for all positions.

is the upgrade time any shorter from right seat ATR to left seat if you start of in the caravan for a while, or will it be about 4 years reguardless? i have 135 mins and i wouldnt mind flying the caravan but i dont want it to be a waste of time as far as getting multi turbine PIC time or working my way up to getting it.

I called the Chief Pilot at MAC about a week and a half ago, and he said they are not hiring, in fact he is just trying to not furlough right now as they are overstaffed by a couple of people. Of course things can change quickly, so it might be a different story in a month.
