If your driver ever told you "the weather is too bad to drive, we may need to need to fly it."

You wear ski goggles and a headlamp to work so you can see while you tug the plane out of the hangar during a snow storm at a crappy uncontrolled airport in the middle of nowhere.

You look behind you and just see yellow boxes with either a biohazard or radioactive sticker on them.

Thumbs up Freight Dogs Forever !!!!!

[QUOTE=freightdog;90301]You might be a freight dog if...
  • You can easily make the "Early Bird Specials" at the local restaurant because you just woke up at 4:00 PM and the Early Bird is from 5:00-6:00 PM.
  • You have a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign for the motel room door in Spanish.
  • You carry extra ear plugs and a dozen sleep masks in your brain bag.
  • You know the max EPR/N1 setting for your aircraft for that Saturday morning "get back to base to catch the 7:15 AM commute home" flight.
  • On that Saturday morning flight back to base you call ATC ahead of time and request a straight in approach and clearance to the ramp......75 miles from the airport.
  • You have a taxi on "Stand-by" at the cargo ramp for that quick trip over to the passenger terminal.
  • You know that if you're in the taxi by 0612 AM at Kennedy, you can slip the driver a $20 and he'll make that 0715 commute home flight out of LaGuardia (Been there, done that...many times !). Thanks for starting this thread and long live the Freight Dogs ! G'Night Mates...time to go to work !

If you've ever been tossed out of an FBO at 4am for snoozing in the pilot's snooze room, because it is reserved for their corporate customers. Thanks Cutter!

the FBO tries to have you load/unload in a dark, abandoned corner of the airport with no facilities because they don't want our dirty multi-colored airplanes on the ramp with shiny jets.

You have an inkling you could be a Tetris video game champion after all the practice you've had loading your airplane quickly.
