Default Air Cargo Carriers

Just wondering if there is anyone on here currently working at Air Cargo Carriers that could tell me how things are going there. Thanks.

kinda heavy twin turbine in a two crew, I worked for them in Iraq but never in the states, a starter type of job low pay, I would personally fly a beech 99 and then move into a king air, nobody knows what an sd-3 is, I flew it in ak before them and all it got me was twin turbine and some great experience, but a be99 would transfer way better for your career

alpine is hiring and so is ameriflight I would go that route low pay but good experience

I fly the Shorts yeaarrrrss ago. I didn't fly for Simmons, But when I mention the Shorts to airlines guys flying out Chicago, AA, UA, and ATA guys, they all remember Simmons which flew Shorts, which became American Eagle, Comair had Shorts, Allegheny also.

The Shorts is 26,500 pounds, vs Beech 99 is around 10,000, not even 12,500....

Shorts is a great PIC turbine builder.

SD3 is on list for airlines applications. It's a great conversation as a Square airplane.
it's even flown in the Army.

my opinion, but I'd recommend it over a 99.

If you had a choice.

How come most of the ACC pilots, who are in their early 20s and extremely low fight time, are rocking 777 or 787 lanyards?

Well, considering the SD3 is the Irish Concorde, and I don't think there are any of those lanyards around, then the 77/78 must be the nearest thing. Cool

I fly it in my slippers, shorts and polo shirt. But I'm just a scuzzy freight dog (and not at ACC).
