I have read all the previous posts about DPJ. I haven't seen any current information on these guys lately. Can anyone give any updates on hiring and overall current working conditions at DPJ? Looking at their website in the careers section it has changed from in the past and is showing first officer nationwide only. If hired what types of aircraft are they hiring into? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Where do I send off my resume? Are the up grades happening between two- six months as long as you meet the 3,000 TT requirement? What aircraft are they hiring into right now? 6'3" in a BE-400 would be tight!

Not sure about upgrade times if you come in with the 3,000 already, but I'm at 2500 and was told 12-18 months to upgrade. Was also told to expect the XL. I'm 6'4" so hopefully it won't be horrible lol

So I just want to clarify a few things. First, what is the max annual salary an FO can get and a Captain can get? Is there a dispatcher who does the flight planning or do the pilots do it? Can a CFI with the FO minimums get hired? How many hours does the average first officer fly per month?

Thanks in advance to the people who help!

You have to apply online. Look through the earlier pages of this thread and there is a step by step guide on how to apply.

I'm 6'3 and flew a beech jet for many years. You will be fine. You will learn to squeeze in....

I have an interview on 29 September. If anyone has any insight into the interview process, I would appreciate it.

The interview is very straight forward. We want to see that you're a professional, reliable, person that we could actually spend 8 days on the road with. Focus on how you'd take care of pax, interact with crew, and who you really are. Very light touch on 135 and ATP level questions. You'll be fine. Good luck! It's a great place!

Does DPJ still require pilot applicants to have a type rating? How difficult is it to obtain an interview with the minimum qualifications?
