Holy ****.... Cape Air operates a BE-18 ? That would be a fun single pilot gig.

I just applied to cape air with 820 / 129 multi turbine for atr. Keeping fingers crossed that mins may be flexible. I really like the company

Your best bet is get 135 IFR mins and apply to Ameriflight my friend. That'll scrub off some of the question marks from training past.

They'll probably offer you a spot as an FO, but on the 402, not the ATR. Think they're sitting pretty with ATR FOs right now, a couple just went through training. You never know, though!

I applied to ameriflight with much more than 135 mins and never even got a call...

Just remember that SIC in a 402 is not loggable. I am pretty sure their op specs dont require two pilots.

Incorrect. Our Opspecs do allow for it, and it is loggable.

Right seat in a 402 might not be as attractive as other SIC multi time, but you will get lots of good experience! Also, pretty much guaranteed upgrade once you meet CA mins.

It's not even a matter of what our opspecs require (though as mentioned above they do require an SIC under certain conditions).

Check out 135.101- An SIC is a required crew member for carrying passengers IFR under 135. However, you may be authorized to use an autopilot in lieu of an SIC (135.105). Definitely loggable time if you are qualified (having passed a .293 checkride, which all our SIC's do.)
