Default Cape Air F/O?

I was just curious if this was correct.

Our minimum qualifications for the
Cessna 402 First Officer
positions are:
U.S. Commercial Multi-Engine, Instrument Rated License
Current FAA First Class Medical
1,000 Hours Total Time
25 Hours Multi-engine Pilot-in-Command Time (preferred)
250 Hours Cross Country Time
75 Hours Night Flight Time
50 Hours Instrument Time
Ability to work in the United States

1,000 hours to fly a Cessna 402 for $9.00 and hour?

this has to either be wrong or a crime.

Duty hour. They actually do better than a lot of first-year RJ FOs. It's still crap money, but whatever.

It really works out okay, the more you work, the more you earn. I did Mon-Fri 13 hrs a day in the C-402, C-414 E-110, and flew the Boston Globes to ACK in the BE-18 on Sunday for another three hours, if I sat and had hash and eggs for 68 hours.

first off..... www.flycapeairjobs.com

second....they want higher time FO's for a quick upgrade. Most of the FO's get left seat upon hitting ATP mins.

Although they have been hiring on and off now and in the past, I have not seen them hiring first officers for a LONG time. I don't know if they hire first officers off the street at all any more. I heard they have an arrangement with a school and are getting all of their FOs from that school.
If anyone has different information, I'd love to hear it.

Was this for FO or Captain? May I ask what your times were?
