Jump Pilot Jobs in CA?
Does anyone know of any Parachute Jump Pilot positions in the state of California?
Im looking at this as a way to jump up my TT (at about 600TT right now) then apply to the regionals or, if I enjoy it, wait until I have enough hours for the majors. Thank you for any and all information!

I don't know of jump pilot positions per se, but if you're in Norcal, there are jump operations at the Cloverdale and Byron airports. They're always busy and they fly year-round. Sorry I can't help with more...

Any little bit helps, and a thank you to the both of you.
Gjn290 - I am a guard helo pilot currently getting my Comm-Inst ASEL and AMEL, and I am trying to keep my ear to the ground to see whats out there so I can start applying as soon as I pass my checkrides. The problem I am facing is I have all this Helo time (Turbine, Multi-Engine), and very little fixed-wing. I can see having to spend some time bringing the fixed-wing time up. Although I have heard some regionals (skywest and ExpressJet specifically) will take Helo time.

Skydive Perris and skydive Elsinore. Are busy Southern California jumps I think both operate twin otters. Might be hard to get into with 600TT. Check out U.S. Parachute Association - Skydive Today! click the upper right corner DZ locator. Thank you for your service.
