Schedule is Mon-Fri, but most routes are 3 days. We don't work weekends unless it's a special call out which is very rare. No problem with doing side work or any work for that matter unless it's flying for a competitor. There are a lot of companies doing what Barr does, but Barr is the biggest in the business and does it to the highest standards. To be PIC they require 1500TT, there are many out there that will hire you with 500-750TT. This is based on insurance or customer requirements. Barr contracts to the larger oil companies mainly which require the higher TT.

Observer is not required to be a pilot but preferred. We have a lot of guys that are Private pilots. Pay starts at $40k for the pilots and raises are performance based, there are guys here making over 50k, just depends on the guy. If you work here 5-10 yrs and only make 41k, well that says a lot about you.
