Is it hard to find CFI jobs?

Are the students at OSU from America or from other countries? I've Heard many of the large Universities are getting foreign students to fill their planes...

No Instrument Rating? Do you mean you are VFR only or that you don't have a CFII? If it is the former, my gut says it would be nearly impossible. A LONG time ago when I instructed, getting hired without a CFII was tough.

Well my problem is I don't have any money and I am trying to do this as cheaply as possible. Would it really be that hard to find work in the Daytona Florida area as a freelance CFI? I'm 20 y/o and I really don't want to start my life off in too much debt.

See my post above. I'm still uncertain about whether you currently hold your own instrument rating but no Instrument Instructor. If so, you should be totally fine. If you do not hold your own instrument rating, you need to get that rating ASAP if for no other reason than your own safety and the safety of your students.

Flight Training and Accelerated Flight Training - Orlando, Kissimmee, Florida
I highly recommend them.
Or go to Jacksonville:
US Flight School | Pilot School | Aviation Schools | Aerosim Flight Academy > About the Academy > Flight Instructor
Or if you feeling really adventurous these folks in California will house you, pay you and train you:
Sierra Academy of Aeronautics
Good Luck!

If you are dead set on staying in the Daytona area then you'll have to market yourself like crazy, but think of how many other CFI's are out there (especially in Florida) doing the same exact thing you are doing. Consider saving up and doing this:

Thats for the suggestions I will check them out. But should I absolutely get my instrument rating before my CFI? I understand the safety aspect, I'm just trying to find a way to afford this. Loans don't come so easily.

§61.183 Eligibility requirements.
To be eligible for a flight instructor certificate or rating a person must:
(a) Be at least 18 years of age;
(b) Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language. If the applicant is unable to meet one of these requirements due to medical reasons, then the Administrator may place such operating limitations on that applicant's flight instructor certificate as are necessary;
(c) Hold either a commercial pilot certificate or airline transport pilot certificate with:
(1) An aircraft category and class rating that is appropriate to the flight instructor rating sought; and
(2) An instrument rating, OR privileges on that person's pilot certificate that are appropriate to the flight instructor rating sought, if applying for—
(i) A flight instructor certificate with an airplane category and single-engine class rating;
(ii) A flight instructor certificate with an airplane category and multiengine class rating;
(iii) A flight instructor certificate with a powered-lift rating; or
(iv) A flight instructor certificate with an instrument rating.
That "OR" is throwing me off however it seems as if you can be a CFI with an instrument rating. In any case you may still run into employment problems unless you want to independently instruct PPL's and sport pilots.
