Anyone heard of Star Marianas Air?
Star Marianas Air, Inc.
I recently saw a job posting about pilot positions and was wondering if anyone had heard of or worked for them.

There's already a thread on this company, found here:

Most of their flying is "VFR" in Cherokees and Skyhawks. They do have a twin, but good luck getting into it. Seems like a decent time building gig if you have nothing holding you down.

Hey guys!
Few days ago I had an interview and it seems that I've been hired (verbally, no papers been signed yet) and flying there pretty soon.
I have few questions on Star Marianas Air for those of you who worked there.
Could you please advise me on what should I take with me? I never lived on small islands and have no idea if there anything in high demand/something hard to get there due to short supply or high prices - clothing/cell phone or something else....
Might be you could advise me on anything else regarding going there? Any tips/thoughts are highly appreciated!

The Island is still currently without power after the typhoon hit 3 weeks ago. Not a bad place to get a start and have fun. I enjoyed living there for a year. That being said, I wouldn't go back and work there again.

Saipan and Tinian are very very small, remote and the isolation can be somewhat overwhelming. An exit strategy is a very good idea.
