Default Cirrus Pt 91 / CFII

A client (a mid-Atlantic aircraft management firm) is looking for an experienced CFII Cirrus SR22 pilot for a full time management position of an aircraft based in the Akron, OH area. The pilot will provide corporate and personal flights for aircraft owners as well as flight training for one of the two owners. The pilot is expected to fly between 300 - 400 hours in the first year. The owners intend to acquire additional aircraft either over time so upward opportunities exist. The pilot must have a strong personality, yet posses the ability to have fun with equally strong owner personalities who are looking to experience life and the country as an aircraft owner.

There's a definite potential for this to evolve into a jet job. We think 500TT is the right experience level, but knowing the SR-22 POH cold and having established Cirrus experience is more important to us than total time.

PM me if interested.

This does not pass the initial smell test IMHO. Hopefully the eager beaver, low time pilot that volunteers for this gig will do his homework and ask all the right questions to determine the exact nature of the flying involved here. Hopefully the "owners" will be able to produce satisfactory documentation to prove that this is in fact a "corporate" flight operation and no "holding out" is being accomplished under false pretenses... The wording of this solicitation is suspect. Please be careful! This type of "carrot dangling" has gotten many people in trouble before, or at the very least disappointed when it never materialized... Get all "promises" in writing! If they're not willing to put it in writing, RUN!

Not sure why the hate. Part 91 flying for an owner (or pair of owners) is a legit job. It's a good opportunity for someone with the right attitude.

Does this forum have a "Where are they now button?"

So what happened with this position?
