HAHA....I can't find a better contact for this guy. He has an office at Coeur D Alene airport and is as low threat as they come. You can probably get a phone number from the yellow pages. Tell him I sent you, the UPS guy.
And, yes, his side job is the coroner for Kooteni county...

Dr. West is the senior partner, along with Dr. Mark Manteuffel, in Coeur d'Alene Flight Medicine. The number is: (208) 772-6647. Talk to Jody, the PA, she's great with scheduling issues and they are a fair and very good AME.
They are located on the west side of the COE airport, a little hard to find the first time, so ask for specific directions when you call.
I used to go to him, but got tired of not being able to close my eyes and balance on one foot....
Low threat, though. And good if you don't want to drive to KCOE. He used to only do exams on Wednesdays, as I recall. The office is at Rowan and Division. Northside Family Practice, or something like that.

Yeah that was a downside of Dr. Hershey. I had to book weeks in advance, just to be able to get laughed at for not being able to stand on one foot. That what you get for making me lie down for five minutes.
Neither Hersey or West have you drop your pants. Hersey has an eye chart on a wall and West has one of those little viewers. As far as lenient, I wouldn't say either will let you blow it off. West's nurse is pretty laid back and the office is less "industrial" than Hersey's. Hersey works out of a small clinic while West is working out of a hangar with a couple offices and an bathroom. The enviornment is pretty laid back for West.
I like West better and that's why I've stuck with him. But both are pretty low threat and nothing to worry about. If you're breathin', you should be fine...
