You could very easily get either an interview OR a class date just by going to the Job Fair. When I was furloughed, and before I went to the majors, I attended 7-8 of these Job Fairs, learned alot and it really built my confidence. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an airline/fractional job.
Hey guys I'm getting back into flying after a 5 year hiatus. I attended the job fair in DC. Went up to CAL,UPS,and was summarily told that I need to get current. Even though I have 6120 hours Part 121 time, flown 4 jets, capt on 2,apparently I potentially would be behind the power curve if I was in class. It was reccomended that I go out and get 121 time, and resubmit.Has anybody else had this happen?

Seems pretty standard. Regardless, you are still not current and not legal. I don't see why you need 121 time to become marketable again? Perhaps try to find a 91 job or 135 position. Keep updating your resumes and hope for the best. Best of luck,
