Default Non-Flying Jobs

I'm working on my resume, using the template from APC, but I'm wondering if people also list their non-flying jobs? I was a flight attendant for United and was an operations manager for an environmental company for 3 years. Should I also list those even though its not on the template?

Thanks!

I have seen some templates for mixed jobs...one has 'school teacher' on it. Somebody else with more experience reviewing resumes may ring in but I would use it...it addresses your passion for the job and the breadth of experience. Then you may be given an opportunity to discuss them in the interview. Most of the interviews just want to get a 'feel' for your personality. You could easily discuss customer service as a flight attendant, and management of…well, you get the picture.
Good luck!

I would personally put both. One shows that you have 121 experience, as a crewmember. (FA's use CRM too...) And the other shows leadership/management skills. Actually, they both do. So yes, put both of them down. PM me if you need other templates.

Remember a template is just a suggested format which may or may not have worked for someone in the past?

Personally, my resume starts (top to bottom) with my flight experience, education, and then additional jobs. Chances are they are going to find out your past job experience through interview, application, etc. You might as well provide them the information on your terms the first time they review your qualifications.

First impressions are lasting impressions!
