Default FlightSafety International Interview Prep?

Does anyone have any info on FlightSafety International's interview process for pilot instructors? I've looked around, but I haven't found any gouge yet.

I know they do a panel interview and the interviewee must prepare and present a 10-15 minute briefing on a topic of his/her choice. Beyond that, I have no information.

I would suspect they do a sim ride ... or maybe not?

Marvin,

it's a real laid back interview. About a half hour of human resource questions with a panel of six people followed by you giving a 10-15 minute presentation on a topic of your choice. The whole process takes about an hour.

A good friend just went thru the process and it was identical to the Red Baron's gouge. He interviewed at 2 different FSI's and got a job offer.

What are some examples of topics used for the presentation portion. Do most people teach a certain system, weight and balance, airspace...?

I interviewed and was hired by FSI at Wilmington, DE. Topics just have to be aviation related. Only guidance I was given and I took was to try to not make it a systems brief. You will be giving your briefing to a bunch of senior instructors, and guess what the last thing is that they want to listen to--another brief about the systems on their aircraft.

Try to make it something they don't normally get--more ops related. Keep it simple and about something you are comfortable with. If it is systems, just focus on one topic, not the entire soup to nuts. All they are looking for is how you can handle speaking in front of a class room. Good luck.
