It is good to know as much as you can about Jepps. But also keep in mind they don't expect you to know EVERYTHING. Don't focus too much on memorizing everything about Jepp plates, and focus more on the whole interview process. The panel probably doesn't give a **** about how much you know.
They are more interested in who you are, and no one likes "know-it-all's" !!!

Default Staying IFR Proficient

Like others have said, in front of your Jepps you will find some great information but it can be a bit boring. It ALWAYS gives me the nods.

Try the Jeppesen Instrument Procedures Guide which provides detailed coverage of instrument charts and procedures including IFR takeoff, departure, enroute, arrival, approach, and landing operations.

Or try the Jeppesen Chart Training DVD which is a training tool that will enhance your knowledge of Approach Charts, Enroute Charts and Arrival/Departure Charts.

But if you are looking to really round out your IFR training, check out this IFR Proficiency Series.

Hope that helps!

Jeffrey

Better know the Jepps inside and out. At UAL I was given a plate and asked, "you are at this intersection and are cleared for the approach, what do you do?" Of course it's a complex plate and borderline trick question.
