I heave heard rumors of 1-3 weeks for the Saab. I do not know how true it is. I believe that they will take you on IOE where ever they want or need you, so probably in and/or out of base.

I have sims starting Thurs 10-18 and i am done 10-31, all in STL

I got 7 days off between oral and sims.

The week off was much needed and gave me time to get the flows calls down cold.

Oral was on 10/11. We were the last group through SSI so we are the last ones doing sim. We are doing 4 sessions in STL then back to MSP for the last 4, PC and LOFT. Kinda screwy how they're doing all this.

How many pilot pairs had to go to STL?

How many senior Captains got to stay in MSP?

Thanks...

Have there been any recent new vacancy bids/awards with any more 34 day upgrades? I know they're hiring street captains, but I don't think any of them are in class yet and I'm just wondering how many more higher time FOs with ATP mins have upgraded to the Saab as quick as the 34 day guy? Anyone have any info?

Newest vacancy shows 13 new hires and 15 upgrades for the Saab. No way to tell right now who's who. Vacancy closes today and award comes out tomorrow.

I don't think we are "really" hiring captains right now.

I had a buddy with a bunch of experience as an FO at Piedmont apply for the "street captain" position and get an interview for it next week, so they're interviewing for it.

Or its possible you agree with what I said earlier in that they aren't hiring "captains" they're hiring FOs with ATP mins that will upgrade before the end of training.

You really are hiring captains right now. Got a call from Melissa Z. yesterday. Wants me to interview in two days for a class in two weeks or a class next week-ha. I'm cautiously optomistic...I guess we'll see what happens!
