Not sure your attitude will make it through the interview process.

Hey everyone, I have another newbie question. What is a good size of luggage to get? I am looking at some different travelpro varities and was wondering what size to get, 19'', 21''?? Any help would be great! Also, any other brand of luggage that might be cheaper and hold up as well?

Apparently Melissa Z. has been misinformed.

This is really up to your packing needs. We have lots of 4-day trips. Some people can fit 4 pair of underwear in their flight case and borrow a toothbrush from the hotel. Others seem to need two roll-a-boards, a backpack and a lunch bag to get through a 4-day.

Get the size of bag that works for your packing needs and a 4-day trip.

Either that or they found the burned out bridge.

I would say unless you are a really light packer, don't go less than 20" I've got a 20, but also generally bring a backpack with food and a computer.

I think the two most common brands are travel pro- 20-22" for around $200 and the expensive one purdy neat for around $280 (22"). Both will do you well and stand up to most beatings.

One brand that is standard issue for FAs at my current company, I chose to buy my own because they offered a discount and its a good bag is e-bags. www.ebags.com You'd want the ebags Professional 20" upright. I've had it for a year and a half now, still looks brand new, wheels roll very well.... basically I like my bag. Its $139 on their website, but if you call you might get a airline discount, who knows, always good to ask.

Recommendations: Size 20-22" Brands: the three mentioned, do not go to a department store and buy regular luggage, it will only last a month. Happy shopping.

The absolute hands down best bag for the Saab is the Pelican 1510 (even better with the optional Pelican 1519 lid organizer). It is indestructible even when dropped from chest level out of the back onto the ramp. 100% waterproof for when they leave it out in the pouring rain or spray deicing fluid on it, or the fish crate breaks open and soaks everything in the cargo hold.

Just get a J-hook and screw it to the bag, epoxy over the screw and you have the best of the best for the Saab!

http://pelican.com/cases_detail.php?Case=1510

It does fit in the bins of all the NWA mainline aircraft for commuting or deadheading purposes.

I interviewed yesterday for Ca position. Was told this vacancy bid got filled (though it was close to bottom). They are getting a pool of CA qualified people and will pull from it when vacancies go unfilled.

Nice people and straight forward Interview.

I'm currently at Comair (2.5 years) and upgrade is at best probably a year or more away( talked to a guy who upgraded at year 5, it was his first opperunity) and that is for JFK. I'm from DTW so I'm hoping to get that. They said that is one of their junior bases, so there is a good chance I would get it eventually.
