Are they being shifted to ASA, Comair, Pinnacle, ect? Perhaps it's all part of the continued shuffling/blending of routes among the DCI's. I'd bet that there will be other routes that used to be flown by others you will soon see. Just as we are now seeing Comair in DTW parking in the C gates doing routes we used to do, and we will soon be doing stuff out of JFK that they did.

I think Avro hit the nail on the head.

We have talked about this before but why is XJ hiring 80 new flight attendants? I know they have high attrition but for the month of May they had 92 lines of reserve for all three bases. I don't know what the staffing model is for flight attendants but it seems like hiring 80 more while you have 92 on reserve might be more then attrition.

Our flight scheds are posted on mymesaba.com in the Pass Bureau Info section. The flight attendant stuff I heard from a crew I was flying with so I looked at their bid packets on mymesaba.com for the month of May and found that they had that many lines of reserve.

I keep finding flights the 200 is losing.
Like:
MSP-DSM,LSE
DTW-ATW, CWA,

I can't find anywhere that we are picking up any flying. It's kinda weird.

I also heard about the FAs. I also heard they have scheduled FA classes through August from a flight attendant that just finished OE. She said they had told them that in ground school.
Is it true that they are keeping some of the CRJ instructors in the training center instead of bringing them on the line?

Ran into my old 900 sim instructor and he said that everyone is back flying the line but they all went through recurrent instructor training right before they came back to the line. He made it seem like they all can be called back to the training center at any point in the next 12 months with no delay.

Are you talking about 200 or 900 instructors? I know only a few of them were signed off on both aircraft.

Yeah I ran into the instructor a week ago and he made it seem like they were all back on the line.

As far as the FAs go that just seems like they are hiring above and beyond attrition.....
