What was your total time? Just wondering if they are taking people at the low times.
500/75. I'm sure you will get a call. Do you have a degree? I would be patient, as you probably know they are extremely busy right now. Let me know if you get an interview, and PM me if you have any questions about the interview or anything else.

I dont have a degree yet, I am about a year out from graduating. I also had a improper lookout ticket 2 and a half years ago, do you think they care about that? I hear they do a mini interview over the phone, do you know anything about that?
I wouldn't consider it a interview. They just ask you about your flying, what your doing to build time if your not a CFI etc. They also want to know just basic stuff if you have failed a checkride. No technical stuff or anything, just things about you. As far as the ticket they may not like it, but it is not the end of the world. Now if it were a DUI or something then probably not. Anyway, I wouldn't sweat it too much, just relax when they call and hopefully you will get an interview date!

Not just a rumor. All of the new CA's I've talked with lately have had at least a week off. One guy was telling me six weeks between sim and IOE, but I'm not sure if I understood that correctly.
This doesn't mean that this will for sure continue in the future (there are a number of factors) but there is at least a chance.

A buddy of mine who started the same time I did but in the 900 will hold MSP right out of training, as it stands right now.
I talked with a new hire not long ago who was on the Saab and based out of MSP. She got MSP right out of training... never had to commute! She prolly won't have to commute when she upgrades too.
I've been to all our bases twice, and there are plenty of guys who've had it worse than me. Its just amazing how quickly things change...
I started in the July 16 class, and just finished IOE yesterday (that makes it almost exactly 2 months from day 1 to end of IOE). My training schedule was pretty compact compared to the others in my class as all mine was in Minneapolis and my sims were right after the oral. I had 2 weeks from the end of Sims to IOE. Hope that helps clear up somwhat of a timeline.
My class 8/27 just finished systems yesterday. Everyone has their oral next week and about half of us are going down to St. Louis relatively soon after. Some guys are there the entire time, and some of us are doing about half of it there and half back up in Eagan. Rumor we heard was that it was about a 3 week wait from sims to IOE, granted we also heard new checkpilots were about to come online.
