Never say never. Maybe be unlikely, but we who peruse these message boards have yet to be right about anything. Other then reserve stinks and a 3am rr is just cruel.

And to DAL4ever, good call on the scotch. I think I'll join you for one. At least in spirit.

So why do they have the A1 window in the bid packet? Somebody has to bid A1, which is 0001-1400. The ferry flight was on my line before 11 p.m the night prior. It showed a 4 a.m. departure. We were done by 6 a.m. where we ferried the plane to, headed to the hotel and sat sat around for the rest of the day until we deadheaded back to CVG the next morning. Good use of a reservist I love commuting to work for 8-10 hrs. to ferry a plane and then sit all day to DH back the next morning and go home. Very productive

That hasn't happend to me, yet. I was surpised we got fueld, stocked and de-iced in a reasonable time at 4 a.m. in the morning. I love operating out of CVG, our ramp guys do an outstanding job!

Excuse me i mis-spoke yes there are some A1 in JFK but the heart of comair still lies in CVG. So if there was and A1 available to do it then it shouldnt have been given to you if there wasnt then you would have been the logical choice to use. If you saw it on your line at 11 then and if there were no A1 then they there no one else to use then.

The use of a reserve your aware you can only be scheduled to 11 hr on any rpt before 0500.

as far as productivity is concern we are fat on f.o. thats the problem. so yes ill admit we know it sucks but there nothing we can do about it. I allow more lineholders to do drop then i ever before.

Untill they start upgrading it will continue we have been operating in the red all 18 days with the crj captains. However for some un-founded reason we have been for most part able to cover it. There have been cancellations yea. That why I expect them to at least do another upgrade class soon.

One of my friends just got offered a job too. His class date is in 2010, so I guess you're right, hiring is going strong!
