Does anyone have any idea how many 70 FOs are on reserve? I have been hearing that 10 years will put a Captain on reserve after the furloughs. Boy did I pick the right airline or what?

There is close to 50 of us on reserve this month and there will probably be more next month due to the downgrades coming over.
I don't disagree with your rationale, however an injuntion simply allows one party time to establish a case, discovery, etc. so that they can present all facts to the judge. IMO, once all facts are presented, Mesa still did not live up to the contract and breeched the terms. I don't disagree that BigD manipulated situations but in court, that will be next to impossible to prove beyond heresay or conjecture. Mesa would have to have solid, beyond a reasonable doubt, truths. The BIG difference between Mesa and Comair is that, for now, Delta was public as to their desire to see Mesa gone too. As for United, I think theirs is as simple as they can't afford, or don't want to pay for, the next best option at this time. Others (Cal, USAir) haven't wanted to merge with United after seeing their books for a very good reason. They are in bad shape.
I'll be watching this unfold as well.
You cant set performance numbers and then ask us to cancell flights so that you may have the slot and then count those against us....well I quess you can...but in contract law this will not hold up. United doesnt want us gone. Our numbers are good and they have increased our flying.

Logic's post does not lack logic. If you knew anything about the case than you would know that what he said is exactly correct. How do you think Mesa won the injunction? Because their performance numbers aren't as bad as Mesa bashers make it and everything else out to be. There were tons of voice recorded calls to the SOC to cancel flights because Delta wanted to use that slot for their own 75's and 76's because obviously they could get more passengers to their destinations. Also, Mesa was/is operating in a tough JFK environment. Have you looked at JetBlue's performance stats? Bottom of the barrel. Not their fault though. I know a lot of people hate Mesa for one reason or another but this issue is not their fault and they have had good operational performance for Delta. Currently they are operating somewhere around a 99.6% ontime performance for Freedom, well above what the contract dictates. When the court case is all said and done we will all see that Mesa was in the right here.
well we all know that ontime numbers are bogus, my watch says 8:01, the other guys watch says 7:59, the airplane says 8:02.... i think its 5 o'clock somewhere, so all of these ontime numbers are just a bunch of bull if you ask me.

Not to start another argument, but Comair also has the pleasure (for me anyway since it's home) of working out of JFK.
For the month of October, Comair was second in completion and third in On Time Departures, Arrivals within 14 minutes, and baggage amongst all of the DCI carriers. Freedom was last in completions and 6th (of 7) in Departures, Arrivals, and baggage.
And October only had four days at most that affected weather at JFK.
