the only good thing about flying for them would be lots of trips to russia to hook up with some really hot mail order brides that would do ANYTHING to get to the states....

I am SOOOOO in on this - not only as an investor, but also would love to fly for them. I plan on buying a round lot of their stock (100 shares). Of course, that would only be the price of a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese value meal.

Maybe these guys can merge with Family Airlines?

Baltia seems to only have a toy painted up...

You are correct, they have an airplane...a three engined 747 classic! Is this a new fuel efficiency tactic with whales...remove one of the motors?

This makes Baltia an ultimate choice for investment to me Baltia's objective is to provide high quality three class passenger service, and reliable and fast cargo and mail transportation. Baltia plans to start its flight operations in 2007, as the only US airline connecting directly two of the world's most prominent cities - New York and St. Petersburg.
http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/b...inc/index.html

Baltia's nonstop service from New York's JFK to St. Petersburg will be approximately 8 hours, as compared to European connecting flights by foreign airlines taking up to 12 or 18 hours. Only a US airline (as well as a reciprocal Russian airline) is entitled to fly nonstop. Third nation airlines, which are currently serving the market, can only operate connecting flights via their nati onal airports.

They have an awesome website situated at:

http://www.baltia.com/
This is the funniest thing I have read on here in a long time. Thanks, Martinop!

I'll believe it when I see it. In the meantime I'll stick to New York-Kiev on Delta. You know, Delta? They have a few actual airplanes with big triangles on the tail.........fly out of a few small places.......ATL, SLT, JFK......
