The maturity and wisdom of some of these post amazes me. And if I'm lecturing on maturity we are all seriously screwed!

Stick
Well said. We don't need the press interviewing "Aviation Experts" on CNN. Let's keep photos off of this forum. Our mtc folks do a GREAT job. Anyone is prone to screwing up.

oh boy..........

I never would have thought it would have went this long without pics being posted. They have been going around ASA for some time now.

I also never would have thought that this email would have been posted. I know where that originated from and he is going to be ****ed if he finds it on airliners.

I wonder how long it will be before its more widespread.

just so you all know i have seen these pictures and a few others before, and it wasn't me that posted them. my friend asked me not to. but now that they are out there i can honestly say it is a miracle no one was killed, let alone hurt.

We have the pics at Comair as well. ASA's MX was kind enough to share with other RJ carriers. We have additional pics that they took the next day from a bucket lift. All three are going to be written off looking at the amount of damage, especially when you get wing structures involved.

I thought that also, but they say they are going to repair all 3.
There is a team from Bombardier on site performing the repairs.

Definitely a bad thing to happen, especially in times like these. All I know is I'd rather not be the one to have to test fly any of these aircraft when they are done.
