I recently received an invitation to interview with Piedmont. However, I have a couple of questions/concerns before I accept the invite.
First of all, I only have about 500 TT and I haven't flown for two years. Secondly, I have 3 failed checkrides.
So my question is: Is it worth the time and effort getting current and instrument proficient? I don't want to waste my time or Piedmont's if I'm going to be an instant rejection. If it's going to be a situation where my explanations are the deciding factor, I'd like to give it a try. I'm very happy in my current job, but have always had the dream of being a pilot and want to at least give it a shot if it's still a possibility for me.
