DG, you are obviously miserable at PDT. With the demeanor you display on this forum I highly suggest you start applying elsewhere because you will never make it through upgrade with your attitude if and when you can hold captain. You preach doom and gloom and the demise of the airline, so why stick around? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There is no reason to stay.
Be forewarned however that with the attitude you display on here, you may never actually find a place where you are happy.

Nothing against you but im just curious, you dont have to say your name but are you a new hire or been recently hired by Piedmont? I heard this crap 4 years ago when i was hired and we have done nothing but go backwards.... 200's?.. maybe, and Maybe is being overly optimistic. 400's? Not a chance, Mainline scoped us out of those and theres no way that was negotiated under our nose with noone leaking that out....I really wish you would say or hint at your reliable source....I dont think there is a reliable source at this company, ive heard crap come out of some of the highest higher ups and look where were at....Its just a ploy to keep FO's for bolting for other airlines

Laugh if you like but info comes directly from the higher reaches of the training dept. A real cordial short fellow with a moustache if memory serves. Anywho, said input has let the cat out of the bag on this one. Let me repeat, the acquisition of 200s and Q400s is a reality. This wasnt blowing smoke on the first day of training in a vain attempt to retain new F.O.s. This is legit

I just heard today from a very RELIABLE SOURCE way more reliable than the source feeding crap to you that PDT is getting outbid in some of the 200's by blackwater if not all of them. But a least PDT will NOT get the 6 of them for now unless they show more cash. And the 400's are scope out by the amount of large reginal a/c on the airways fleet. Unless mainline grows their fleet not addicional large regional a/c can be add to the network
