True.... But they are paid (100's) for so I guess they want to ride these donkeys as long as they can. It's straight up cash money in there pockets. No lease payments and fuel sipper on short haul I yield runs. Problem is....... Piedmont is getting to the point they can't find anyone to fly them. This will cause them to be parked before anything else. And remember they are paid for so it doesn't cost them anything to park them also.

Sounds like you guys are prime to have a couple of new shiny jets dangled in front of you. Be sure and wear some protection so you don't contract SJS!

Supposedly they have 20+ new hires in the last 2 months including July.

Class of 14 new-hires at the Trng. Center at the moment, and people are slowly leaving too...just hiring for attrition.

I always wear protection Trust me! I wont vote yeah like you losers at PSA did. Unless they throw a flow without any restrictions, and a non concessionary contract. And a free bike.

From what I've heard, US Airways sold the engines on the 100's years ago, and now lease them back. So as far as I'm concerned, we don't really own $hit. Just a flea on the dog's back unfortunately. Maintenance costs have increased tremendously on the 100's also. I don't consider our fleet to be the workhorse it used to be. Time will tell, but I believe the writing is on the wall.

Be careful. Those ultra senior folks have a lot of clout. They will most certainly take a jet for the last few years of their career in exchange for someone junior taking a pay freeze.

I think your right..... However if we weren't putting money in the kitty then we'd been shut down yesterday. I agree however I see a window of maybe 2 years at the MOST if nothing isn't done soon.
