Fixed it for you.

By wiz's definition of the word scab, every single regional pilot, Southwest, Frontier, Spirit, JetBlue, etc are scabs because they're careers are built off the backs of a concessionary contract versus all the legacy carriers.

Replacing one dying airframe with another just sets up the whipsaw again in a few more years.

Stop using the term whipsaw.. Corporate America uses the term strategic asset relocation..

Now, by definition, how is any Piedmont or for that matter PSA pilots a scab then? Was Eagle striking and nobody knew about it?

I'm not proud or happy that my pilot group voted in the TA and have no problem telling people I voted no against it but it did give us improvements and job security that we didn't have this time last year. I've yet to come across anybody who is happily gonna fly the 145s.

Welcome to the wholly owned poker game Eagle. You're no longer the only player. Piedmont is just playing the hand we've been given.
Job Security?!!! You mean like, how Envoy is hiring 600 pilots and will keep CRJ's for the forseable future. Nobody flying for AAG is secure as long as DUI Doug is at the helm. He is reckless and setting up the airline for failure. PDT pilots are clearly not "scabs." You have selfishly helped to lower the bar and enable DUI D. I am disgusted to be in the same association as the PDT pilots and will never forget.

Really??? We've hired someone with a past drug conviction.
Granted a bunch of other airlines didn't hire them. I think we've got a couple with DUI's in the past.

Don't know what AAG Owned Airline you're talking about. But if you did something bad long ago you have a good chance of getting hired. Remember the list of qualified pilots for the regionals is getting short.
