In the 70's and 80's, DUI's were just a misdemeanor and not nearly as big of a deal in the courts or media. It seems he has a few old ones, and then the two newer ones.

Job Security?!!! You mean like, how Envoy is hiring 600 pilots and will keep CRJ's for the forseable future. Nobody flying for AAG is secure as long as DUI Doug is at the helm. He is reckless and setting up the airline for failure. PDT pilots are clearly not "scabs." You have selfishly helped to lower the bar and enable DUI D. I am disgusted to be in the same association as the PDT pilots and will never forget.

You sound nice. Doug and Scott... They suck hard but mean what they say. Remember, we had 110 planes just a few years ago. Stood our ground with an industry leading contract. We held the line for decades and most of us will stand on that while PSA psa'd us, EGL signed a 16 year deal that only panned out bc of 9/11, and there are many other examples. This deal PDT just signed is still far better than what you have now (minus rates). Like I've said to others, say it to a Piedmont pilots face. Good luck
I would gladly discuss this. Notice you use past tense to discuss your ability to hold the line. Your rates are concessionary and your pilots group voted knowing that this would not sit well with the rest of your association. What do you get, maybe some jets a year from now? Crappy flow? Are you feeling the security in your job.and trusting that AAG will do what it takes to attract the few new hires? All you have is promises and misplaced faith with shady management.

What we got was 100% better then what we had and where we were headed. Where did we take concessions? It's a pay raise for all pilots.

Also looking at the LOA our promises were signed by AAG reps... Not so empty like the ones you guys agreed to...

I'm feeling secure and why shouldn't I? We are seeing movement, upgrades from 7-8 years when I started to soon under 3. This is like beating a dead horse with y'all...more than just pay rates involved. I don't wish anyone ill will or rejoice in your aircraft coming to PDT. However, I also don't have to necessarily agree with some of your group's viewpoints and hangups. I tend to have more optimism than that...
Plus I don't think many people know what holding the line did for us? While people were buzzing around (including Eagle) in there 50 Seat RJ's we continued to have probably the best working contract and health insurance in the industry. What did it get us??? Just going from 110 Airplanes down to 36. Nobody cared, nobody wondered..... And RJ's carriers with ALPA continued to sign off on Contracts that weren't even close to ours.
We held the line for many years, I have no problem with someone else grabbing the torch and running with it. Good Luck! Let us know how it works out for you because for us it didn't work out so well.

At face value it makes little sense but from what I've heard this caveat to the 20 e-175s was primarily written as an out for AAG. Let's say AAG wants to go with another carrier for the 175s, all they have to do is purposefully stonewall negotiations with the FAs or Mechanics and they are free and clear from their commitment.
